Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Rennant Living, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What Rennant Living is

Rennant Living is a listing and discovery platform. We connect students with landlords and agents who list properties. We are not a party to any rental agreement between a student and a landlord. Rent payments are made directly between students and landlords - we do not hold or process rent.

3. Room locking fee

The KES 100 room locking fee is non-refundable once the lock is activated. Paying this fee reserves a room for 48 hours and grants you the landlord phone number. It does not constitute a rental agreement. Rennant Living is not responsible if a landlord fails to honour an agreement after a lock expires.

4. User responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information when registering
• You must not create multiple accounts
• Landlords and agents must only list properties they are authorised to rent
• Listing false or misleading information is grounds for immediate account suspension
• You must not use the platform for any unlawful purpose

5. Listings

All listings are subject to verification by an agent or admin before appearing publicly. We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these terms or our content standards, without notice.

6. Limitation of liability

Rennant Living is not liable for disputes between students and landlords, property conditions, or any loss arising from use of the platform. Liability is only limited to the room locking fee paid. We do not verify the physical condition of any property listed.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of law in Nairobi, Kenya.
